We very much welcome you to join us and are actively looking for strong candidates in unsteady aerodynamics, turbulence, computational fluid dynamics, machine learning, data science, system control, and nonlinear dynamics.

Undergraduate Students

1. Enter the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the School of Engineering, Tohoku University

   • Also consider an IMAC-U course (English-based course).

2. Once you become a 3rd-year student, then choose and request “Fukami Lab.: Advanced Aerospace Engineering.”

3. Again, your first step is emailing Kai Fukami (kfukami1 (at) tohoku.ac.jp) with your interest in joining us prior to any actions.

   • It is also noted that we highly encourage you to start the lab activities as soon as possible once you join this group.

   • We have 3 slots for undergraduates each academic year, following the regulations in the Aerospace Engineering department at Tohoku University.

Graduate Students
